Airtable’s AI Relaunch and Our Partner of the Year Win!

Yesterday, I had front row seats at back-to-back Airtable events at London's Science Museum: the Airtable EMEA Partner Summit and then the almighty Airtable London. Both left me inspired, energised, and totally convinced we're building on the right platform with the right partner.

Partner Summit: Go Together

The morning brought together Airtable's top partners from across Europe for an intimate session focused on the future of the ecosystem. A huge shoutout to Samuel Cook for this invitation and his ongoing commitment to supporting Airtable's partner network - he welcomed us to this event with the warmth and passion he always shows.

We heard from Airtable's leadership team about their growth strategy across EMEA and got an exclusive insight on their roadmap, upcoming innovations and how work gets done internally, thanks to Anthony Maggio - Head of Product.

Anthony keeps partners like us close to his team and their roadmap - we're super embedded and often well ahead of the wider community on what's coming up next out of Airtable.

There was also an engaging panel to demonstrate what partnership looks like in practice between Airtable (Jocelyn Daruvalla-Davies), an agency partner and a customer. The emphasis was clear: Airtable is building its future with partners at the centre, focused on creating genuine win-win outcomes where partners, Airtable, and customers all succeed together.

Nolo Apps - Airtable's EMEA Partner of the Year!

Then came the awards ceremony. Last year, we took home ‘Vertical Partner of the Year’ for EMEA - an acknowledgement of our focused approach in the retail space. So when Nolo Apps was announced as ‘Partner of the Year’ for the EMEA region this year, we were blown away! The progression means the world to us.

Just look at the joy in their faces! This was a genuine surprise so the reaction was a lovely combo of shock and delight.

Airtable recognised us for three key reasons: our ambitions to grow alongside their platform, how committed we are to collaboration (this dinner we co-hosted was a large part of that), and most significantly, for defining what success looks like as a vertical-specific partner. They see what we see: Nolo's laser focus on retail and ecommerce has allowed us to build deep expertise and deliver transformative results for our clients.

We're genuinely delighted to be recognised like this and motivated to keep pushing the boundaries. Co-Founder Victoria Graves put it best to the team, moments after this was announced:

Airtable London: AI Moves from Hype to Reality

Airtable London, the main event of the day, opened up to the full ecosystem – builders, customers, partners, and Airtable staff, including a strong contingent who'd flown in from San Francisco. The energy in the room was HIGH!

This year, Airtable has refounded itself as the AI app platform for enterprise operations, and yesterday was all about bringing that to life in a really tangible way. Elie Milan from Publicis Media discussed driving AI-powered efficiencies across their global operations, Simon Regan-Edwards from Daily Mail explained how their entire editorial workflow now runs on Airtable, and Teodora Musatoiu from OpenAI shared insights on shipping AI at scale. High stakes work, highly-powered operations.

The demos throughout the day were impressive. Field agents, AI app builder OMNI, custom interfaces - live demonstrations of AI in action, showing how Airtable is making intelligent automation accessible and practical for enterprise teams. What struck me most was seeing how teams across a wide range of industries are using these tools to transform how they work. There really is no limit to what you can build - the real unlock is in aligning the intelligence of the platform with the people and processes around it.

What This Means for Nolo

The day made one thing super clear: we are deeply aligned with Airtable's vision to provide AI-powered operational platforms with intelligent automation, adaptive workflows, and no-code capabilities. For us, it’s bringing these huge unlocks to product-driven brands and retailers and making them stick.

In terms of the partnership we have with Airtable, the jump from Vertical Partner of the Year to Partner of the Year, combined with our close collaboration on product direction, means something powerful for our clients. The Nolo team are at the forefront of where this platform is going, delivering solutions that might well have been impossible to build out even a year or so ago.

I left the Science Museum feeling PUMPED about what we're building and all the great people who make up this community. The future of operational automation for retail brands is being written right now.
